Initially, it was decided in a meeting by the CM of Punjab Maryum Nawaz Sharif that loans of 150 billion would be given to 50000 small farmers in Punjab annually. Rs 30000 loan will be given per acre to small farmers to purchase quality seeds, fertilizers, and Pesticides. The government of Punjab will launch this Nawaz Sharif Kisan Card Scheme in collaboration with private sectors soon.

- It is a piece of good news that the CM Punjab Kisan Card scheme registration is now open for will farmers to apply through SMS registration form.
- Registration for this Farmer Loan scheme will start from CM Punjab Kisan Card Scheme Eligibility & 8070 Registration 2024
- Willing farmers are to write an SMS from their registered mobile number with “PKC” space and then enter the CNIC number and send it to the 8070 portal.

- Farmers who have 1 to 12 acres of land are eligible to apply.
- Your land record must be registered.
- A mobile SIM must be registered on the farmer’s Computerized National Identity Card(CNIC).
- Your CNIC must be valid according to the record of the NADRA.
- Farmers must not be the defaulters of any other bank.
- Farmers must return the loan within 6 months.
